The marketing campaign aims to target the Hispanic market. To achieve this, we developed a strategy in collaboration with HMC Advertising that included outdoor advertising, traditional press, and digital and print media.

VIP Passport to Savings
The strategy to compete with the shopping centers located along the border involved a marketing tactic that offered free transportation from Tijuana, Mexico to the Westfield shopping center in the United States, just 25 minutes from the border crossing. As an incentive to use this transport, you were entitled to a “Savings Passport” which featured over 25 pages of significant discounts at more than 150 stores within the mall. Additionally, you would receive a surprise gift when presenting your ticket at the mall’s administration office.
Vehicle Wrap
An agreement was established with a transportation company, which allocated three buses to travel from Tijuana, Mexico to Bonita, California, and back. To increase visibility, the buses were fully wrapped in printed vinyl for easy identification and to align with the advertising campaign’s theme.
Outdoor Advertising
Advertising was created to inform the public about the transportation service, including its schedules, departure locations, and return trips to Tijuana, Mexico. The ads ran in major magazines, newspapers, and city news blogs, achieving a significant impact in the Hispanic market.
Signage design
We filled bus stops and several billboards near the border crossings to inform about the new way to shop in the United States from Mexico without needing to use your own vehicle. Signage was set up both inside and outside the mall to indicate where you could wait for your bus back to Tijuana.
